Once again we found ourselves catching an early morning bus to explore more of Tiquicia (Costa Rica). This time we headed to La Fortuna, a town near the grand volcano: Arenal. The ride was actually a really pretty drive through rolling hills and charming little towns.
We had booked a tour through Adre Natura which included 2 nights in a hotel with breakfast, entrance into hot springs with dinner and some tours. Once we arrived in La Fortuna we went to Villas Vilma to relax and hang out by the pool.
By late afternoon we arrived at Baldi Hot Springs to soak. This place was like an amusement park of hot springs. It was like nothing I've seen before. There were two restaurants, a hotel, waterslides, and some 15 or so pools. We made it a goal to go into every pool and so here is the proof!

The waters get hotter the higher up you go
After a nice relaxing soak in the volcanic waters, we went to one of the restaurants to take advantage of the huge buffet. It was an awesome experience and a great way to start our La Fortuna trip.
