Goodbye Caribbean coast. I don't know if I will see you again anytime soon, but it's been a pleasure.
On the boat ride back I was lucky enough to have a driver with some extra ponchos because boy I needed it. The mixture of pouring rain, speed, and open sides made for a very wet morning/afternoon. After returning to Puerto Moin we took a taxi to the bus stop in Limon and were off to San Jose again; but not without buying some unique Pambon first.
Pambon is a type of sweet bread with frosting decorating the top. I would compare pambon to a sort of fruit cake and I will admit that it's a little pricey (a little less than $5), but it's a lot of bread and it's dense. I personally thought it was alright and didn't need this whole package but hey if you're a sweet bread kind of person then go for it!
It was a long bus ride home but many more adventures are to come!
