In the morning the swimming continued as well as a delicious classic breakfast (eggs and gallo pinto). Although I was surprised when we were offered turtle eggs to eat. At first I didn't believe it and had to ask if having turtle eggs is even legal. Roma said yes and later on (after going to Tortuguero) I found out that it is legal to harvest turtle eggs on the Pacific coast from the Olive Ridley turtle. Legal or not I declined the offer.
Anyways, after a very relaxing, fun, and lucky weekend we had to return back to Barva to go back to the daily grind (or at least the rest of the family had to). Along the way we stopped at Monteverde Restaurant to get some delicious milkshakes. I got the chocolate and Natalie got the caramel. Mmmmm they were both super delicious. I wasn't expecting to find such a delicious milkshake in Costa Rica, so this was a pleasant surprise :)
